Madeline Cooper

Madeline Cooper is a mezzo-soprano residing in   Toronto. Since moving to the city in 2021, she has sung with organizations   such as Opera in Concert, Toronto Operetta Theatre and Opera by Request, as   well as several sacred and secular choirs around the city and beyond. She has   sung roles that span her range from top to bottom; from the secretary in   Minotti’s The Consul to Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte,  and now G&S' Yum-Yum in The Mikado.

Outside of opera and operetta,   Madeline is a poet with the Toronto chapter of Poetry Brothel and a   songwriter working mostly on the classical guitar.
