Karen Bojti

Karen   Bojti spent   many years studying and performing theatrical clowns and improvised devised   theatre. Her operatic repertoire includes the full spectrum of merry matrons   found within the G and S cannon. Karen has sung several operatic roles from   the Third Lady in The Magic Flute, Marcellina, in Le Nozze Di   Figaro, Dame Quickly in Falstaff, La Cieca in La Gioconda,   Abuela in La Vida Breve, the Mother in Kate And The Devil,   Azucena in Il Trovatore, Ma Moss in The Tenderland and Baba in The   Medium. Most recently Karen sang the role of Mrs. Duke in the Canadian   premiere of A Northern Lights Dream by Michael Rose, Lady Augusta   Bracknell in the Canadian operetta, Ernest, The Importance Of Being,   as well as Mirabella in Toronto Operetta Theatre’s The Gypsy Baron.
