Jacob Abrahamse

Jacob Abrahamse is excited to perform Prince Karl Franz in Sigmund Romberg’s The Student Prince. In 2024, he was an Apprentice Singer at the Santa Fe Opera where he performed in Verdi’s La Traviata, Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Strauss’s Der Rosenkavalier, and Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. He also performed as Count Almaviva in scenes from Il barbiere di siviglia. In the 2023/24 season, Abrahamse performed Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata (Brott Opera), Frederic in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance (COSA), and Richard in Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore (COSA). He also performed as the Tenor Soloist in Handel’s Messiah (Peterborough Singers; St. James Cathedral; Messiah for the City), Bach’s Mass in B Minor (Toronto Mendelssohn Choir), and Mozart’s Requiem (Mississauga Chamber Singers).
