Brian Dearden

Brian Dearden is thrilled to be   returning to his favourite show, The Pirates of Penzance, this time as   The Sergeant of Police. This is Brian's fifth time performing Pirates, and   his second time doing so with Toronto Operetta Theatre! Some of his favourite   roles from other productions include Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro  (Summer Opera Lyric Theatre), Archibald Grosvenor in Patience (St.   Anne's Music and Drama Society), and Passepoil in The Widow (Toronto   Operetta Theatre). When he's not on stage, Brian can be found gardening,   playing Dungeons & Dragons, attending pro wrestling shows and metal   concerts, and spending time with his lovely cat, Squeaky. The pandemic made   Brian realize how much he desperately missed making music with his friends.   He's very happy to be here and hopes you are too.
