Ana Isabella Castro

Ana Isabella Castro is a Toronto based Soprano currently completing her MMus at U of T under   the tutelage of Darryl Edwards. Ana has performed the roles of Kate in   Pirates of Penzance (Gilbert and Sullivan), Woman 1 in A Tale of Two Cities   (Arthur Benjamin), Lola in Gallantry (Douglas Moore) and Anna Karenina in U   of T Opera’s Student Composer opera Disobedience (premiere). In January, she   played Justine in a workshop for the new opera Melancholia (Karlsson,   Vavrek), premiering at the Kungliga Operan this October. She looks forward to   performing the title role in Massenet’s Cendrillon with UofT in the spring of   2024.
