Adanya Dunn

Canadian-Bulgarian mezzo-soprano Adanya Dunn (she/they) was featured in The Globe & Mail as one of six Canadian women who are “turning opera on its head and making the future bright for the art form”. Recent highlights include a return to the Warsaw Chamber Opera (Sesto in Mozart's "La clemenza di Tito"), appearances with City Opera Vancouver (Anna in “Sophia’s Forest”, Canadian premiere), and Tapestry Opera (Mezzo soloist for Tapestry Briefs & LibLab, new short operatic works world premieres); and her company debut with the Kingston Symphony Orchestra (Mezzo soloist for Handel’s “Messiah”). In addition to singing, Adanya is the co-founder of the Amsterdam non-profit, Red Light Arts & Culture.
