TOT is
mindful that these economic times call for frugality. The challenge has been
great and TOT Friends were extraordinarily responsive to our appeal during
January and February 2009 when we were striving to shore up support for
KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY and IOLANTHE. Your generosity was magnificent and
humbling. We are happy to count on you as a friend and we know that operetta
is flourishing in Canada mainly because of your commitment to the art form
and to TOT. Toronto and the people within its many neighbouring cities and
communities benefit because operetta adds to the richness of our cultural
life, complementing an already remarkable variety of entertainment choices.
The Board of Directors and I thank you for your support and hope that you are
able to help us again as we prepare to celebrate 25 years of music, laughter
