Toronto Operetta Theatre has been instrumental in the advancement of young artists pursuing training opportunities, stage experience and expansion of repertoire in the field of Operetta and Music Theatre. TOT offers a selected number of artists services aimed at career building. These include coaching sessions with Conductors, Music Directors and Stage Directors. Training session in preparation of roles including style, elocution, diction and stage deportment. Special attention during staging and music rehearsals is paid to nuturing artistic progress and facilitating an organic and natural development leading towards the performance period. Our Young Artists are given special opportunites as featured soloists in concerts and special events. TOT is interested in helping these artists obtain entry into the professional arena whenever possible with recommendations and training in marketing and promotional matters of importance to their advancement.
