Welcome
to our 23rd Season! We’re feeling “on top of the world” and
there are so many good reasons for our excitement, we know you will be as
exhilarated as we are. To start with, October will be the re-opening of our
home at the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, completely renovated,
attractive, comfortable and always welcoming. The TOT season features the
best music in the land of operetta and music theatre and we’re not shy
about saying that the season’s programming is a marvelous one. We are
particularly excited about TOT’s first World Premiere, EARNEST, The
Importance of Being by the Canadian team of Victor Davies and Eugene Benson.
The premiere will be a dream come true and a clear indication that TOT is
ready to step into the international arena in the promotion of the art form.
Last but not least, you have encouraged and supported us with record breaking
numbers at the Box Office, figures of over 90% attendance for the year, and
this is indeed an “on top of the world” reason to celebrate.
I’ll see you at the Centre on October 20 and again on many other
